I have a GMDLBP that is supposed to have a proper working door trigger, but it doesn't work.

oh ok... sorry, i wasnt familiar with that bypass. I would probably just run the seperate door triggers at each door. It may be time consuming, but atleast you know it will work properly.

To avoid dome light delay, use the separate door trigger wires. The LF door is gray/black (-) at the driver door module in the door. The RF door is BLACK/ white (-) at the passenger door module in the door. The LR door is lt. blue/black (-), and the RR door is lt. GREEN/ black (-). The rear door trigger wires are at the fuse box under the left rear seat. Use all four wires and diode isolate each.
You may also be able to get the wires in the door jam, but i am not 100% sure

The biggest piece of Chinese junk EVER!! I finally got it to work, but it is still trying to do crazy stuff.   It's called an Inwell. If they are ever giving any away for free, get a bunch and throw them in the deepest river you can find.

I don't understand. The piece you're installing doesn't have a negative door trigger input, only positive?
You said the GMBLBP makes a ground when the doors are open...that's normal.
I supposed if the alarm only has a positive door trigger input, you could invert the GMBLBP's output with a relay, to give the alarm a positive when the doors are opened.
