So you're saying that the designer's intent is to require the use of the key in addition to the relays? Can't very well drive w/o ignition.

^^^remote starts are not designed to start and then you just drive away2008 Suzuki GSXR600 Spy Alarm - Page 3 -- posted image.. you are supposed to use it to start from a distance, like being inside for the purpose of warming or cooling down the vehicle. then when you go outside you place your key in the ignition and turn it on and drive away.

well, since this is for a motorcycle, I believe it's exactly what is intended or at least expected. No worries, though, I'll use my electronics engineering to fix this thing the way I want it to work.
Thanks for the inputs.

If it were me, I would have connected the neutral light as you would connect the brake switch on a vehicle. You know the safety feature so no one can just hop in and drive your car away. When you get that 10 minute TimeOut "Electronically Engineered" out of the equation, I need a new bike. Exactly where do you live?

Wow, the only reason I spent the time typing that was so Maybe you would stop and think about what you were trying to do, and think, hey that may not be the most secure plan I ever came up with.

other than that all features work and for about 90 I really like it.

Just bought one of these myself. Compared notes in this thread with my own, and added the Spy5000m unit to my factory wiring diagram. Haven't installed yet so I'm not sure this is correct, but if someone could take a look at it for me, I'd much appreciate it!
