I am a noob and installed a Viper 5901 in my new 08 Tundra.  I wired in 2 DEI 530T's, a 506T, and a 520T.  I am using the PKT2 immobilizer and am having problems with t he remote start.  I remote start and see the dash lights and hear clicking but no start.   I have been trouble shooting for 2 days with no luck.

Any help will be appreciated...

i am an idiot

Set the key in the ignition without turning it. Does it start?

Check to make sure the Violet and Green wires are connected to the proper side of the car's starter wire. It will not start if they are flopped but may still provide starter disable function.

did you re-program it for Automatic transmission?   default is manual and it wont start without seeing the "ready mode" sequence otherwise.....

If the wires are flopped the truck will still start normally correct. The truck turns on with no problems.   I iwll check when I get home as the truck is in 100 pieces.lol

Yes I did but what a headache to program with the Valet switch. I went ahead and ordered a bitwritter with the 2.6 firmware to finish the install..

does it start if you disconnect the bypass module and put a key in the ignition (not turned)?   if it does, you have a bypass module issue, if not, either a tach issue or the unit is not programmed for Automatic tranny....

the 5901 gives you a certain # of light flashes when it fails, count the # of times the parking lights flash and then check the manual to see what that # corresponds to.....

also, did you ground the BLACK/ white NSS wire on the 5901?  this has to be grounded as well as using the toggle switch on these new units....
