i did this car awhile back for free.99 job for my bosses daughter.. and at the time there was limited information.... so a couple weeks back she brought it back so i could finish door triggers , trunk triggers, and parking lights. well all is good except parking lights, new information reveals that gray is - and PURPLE / white is +, however, they test as such but dont trigger the parking lights on the outside.. ive tried using a relay to boost negative, ive tried isolating from the switch, ive tested for resistance...and i have nothing..ive found the gray behind the switch, and purple white in passenger kick. they test but do not work ...........ANY IDEAS?
i am an idiot

Yep...don't see that either iaai. Guess he fails to realize, that just because the color of the wire is the same...doesn't mean that it is the same wire he has already tested at the switch, or even provides the same function. Guess he will have to figure it out on his OWN. Now that's a "big help"!

chevy tried it, every wire everyone mentions is there an also test as such. but when either a negative to THE GRAY AT THE KICK OR AT THE SWITCH, or the PURPLE / white + at sjb it doesnt activate the lights but it test as parking lights.... think it has something to do with the auto lights?

Never said you didn't know what you were doing....I know, you think you are some kind of god like installer....but come on...park lights on a Ford?.. some one gives you some input and you reply with a smart*** comment. We don't know exactly what info you have, and exactly how you are testing, so we will throw out any info we have. If it's info you already have....say thank you, I already have that info and move on. It's simple...it's called respect.

may sound dumb but have you tested the positive parking output of your system   that wire i listed goes directly to the parking lights
