What is the pin out for neg when running. I need to connect my bypass to this wire. I am new with compustar starters and they do not list it out on the pin out diagrams

Did you change Special Option Group 2 POC #5 programming?  Default is (-) Status Output for CN2 Pin 11, Black wire.
Soldering is fun!

That was why I was asking for specifics of his unit.  As kreg stated the wire on your unit is labeled Status Output.  It is what others call Ground While Running.  You should not have to do anything in the programming.  Do you see that wire?

I have the bypass connected to that wire. I will have to check and see if I did change it.

What bypass are you using ? Compustar systems can use Fortin, iDatalink and bypasskit.com modules via RS232 without the use of GWR wire. If it's something else other an those & the GWR wire is not functioning, you can change any one of the POC's to GWR with the use of a OP500 programmer.

I am using an idata bypass. That is nice to know I could have been using the RS232 connection.
