Well, lets start by finding out what wires of the RS and DLPKGM you have connected to what wires (color) on the vehicle.    Are all the connections soldered?  Did you get the DLPKGM to program?       Does the Viper 5701 make any clicking sounds?      Any flashing parking lights?       How many flashes?    Does the truck try to start and the quits?

DLPKGM:
Black to Ground
Red to 12 volt(+)
Purple to Purple on OBD2
Blue/white to Viper rs aux output (blue)
Pink to pink on ignition
I tried both W2W and D2D connections.
I did not solder the remote start yet. I wanted to ensure it was working before I buttoned it up.
The Alarm works perfectly. Alarm ARMS and DISARMS. Doors LOCK and UNLOCK. All TRIGGERS work including the HOOD TRIGGER. Lights Flash properly when alarm triggers.
the viper does click and flash lights when trying to remote start but the starter never engages.

Lock/Arm - Lights flash once
Unlock/disarm - Lights flash twice
When trying to rs, lights flash four times.

Page 83 of the install manual has info on the parking light flashes. It has 5,6,7, & 8 flashes. Nothing for 4 flashes.

Smokeman,
It is 7 flashes which says: Manual transmission mode is enabled and not initialized.
How do I get it to automatic?

Change Menu 3, Menu Item 1 to Option 2 for Automatic Transmission.
Soldering is fun!

Okay guys...It was the menu setting.
Now the truck starts with rs then dies immediately. I think it is the tach wire. I search sooo many wires but none of them gave me voltage between 1.5 to 3.5. I can't seem to locate the freakin right TACH WIRE!!!!
Or is it another problem? the jumpers are horizontal and the tact jumper is on lo.

Did you do the Tach Learning as described on page 53?  Try setting the Viper 5701 to Virtual Tach and see if it stays running.  Menu 3,  Item 1, Option 1.

Or first insert a key into the ignition switch, then try to remote start. If it stays running you may have a bypass issue.
