I haven't got time to explain the technical reasons but connect the pink to the BLACK / YELLOW which is ignition 1.

Please do if you have time. As of now I have connected it to Second ignition since its what the previous installer did.

Generally ignition 1 stays live during cranking (engine start). To save the battery only ign 1 and start 1 and 2 (when there are more than 1 starter wire e.g. Nissan) will go live. If you have an aftermarket or built in immobiliser, (such as a 5901) the vehicle wont start because the starter cut/anti-grind relay (internal/external)coils isn't getting any power unless it's source is ignition 1. Thus the stress here and on manufacturer's sheets differentiating ign 1 and ign 2.

I was helping a friend installing Viper 5901 on to his S2k... It is my third viper 5901 install on the S2000.
Everything works but the doors wont unlock, even if the alarm is disconnected, then we tried the Keyless module on another S2k its the same (won't unlock, only locks). So then I tested the relays it wont go negative for unlock it stays at 9volt not 12v or 0v any suggestion in fixing this? ( we tapped into the circuit board of the Keyless Module to do the 2 wire lock/unlock, this method worked before we uninstall the old alarm and on other S2k)
I will need to double check if theres a short circuit somewhere that caused the failure of the module.
Im guessing replacing the module will be expensive, can I just replace the relays on the circuit board?

Did you test your connections on the vehicle before you actually installed anything?
Loads of money, why amateurs shouldn't do this work.

Yes I have tested all my connections.
I would love to pay some alarm professional(proper certified Viper alarm dealer) to do the installation work for us, but over here in HK there arent any professionals! Why? coz each S2000 we come by all the wires are cut up and installed with butcher job for alarm/stereo installs. Although we may not be specialized in alarm installation, we do run a proper garage over here with all the tools and service manual.

Not sure if you mentioned it before but, what year is the s2000?, cut the trigger wires going to the module and send the ground to the module only and see if it locks and unlocks and post back.
