By interior, are you meaning the dash lights??  Seven flashes is still in manual transmission mode. Need to get to Menu3, Item 1, Option 2.

Do you mean a red LED by the F button, not the remote start button??

When all else fails, Read the Instructions

Still in Manual Transmission Mode.    Did you connect Viper H1/8 (-) Door Trigger to either the XK01 Violet/White or the trucks driver door trigger?

Keep trying to change the Vipers programming, Menu 3, Menu Item 1 to option 2.

Soldering is fun!

Here is method from another thread :

Door pins need to be connected because the brain needs to see the door open, then turn ignition on the back off, press the switch until you hear 3 chirps, then release the button then press again and hold, you'll hear 1 chirp...while holding down the switch, press the unlock button on the remote, you'll hear 2 chirps that confirms automatic mode...release the switch and wait 5 to 15 seconds until you hear a long chirp, it mean that you have exited the program mode.  You're done.  Good luck.

Soldering is fun!

Kreg,

I don't believe the H1/8 needs to be connected for programing on the 5301 as it does on a 5701.  I think just the ignition needs to be connected to get into the menus.

When all else fails, Read the Instructions

Nope the door trigger, along with the constant/accessory/ignition wires needs to be connected in order to get to the menus, and the horn if you would like audible confirmation that you are in the menus.
