I have a 2006 silverado and the viper 5704 with xpresskit Db-All. The alarm work and remote start works but the remote start is throwing transmission codes. I have the wires hooked up like this. Now Chevys has 2 12v constants so I split the 12v constants from remote start like I'm bout to write down
From truck to r/s
12v red----- red, RED / white 12v
12v red----- RED / black 12v
Starter yellow------ violet(car side) and green(key side)
Ignition 1 pink------- pink ignition 1
**Note 1**Ignition 2 white------ ignition 2 Pink/white**Note 1**
Acc 1 orange------- acc1 orange
**Note 1** this wire I don't know if I have it right. It's suppose to have power going to it and don't know if I'm suppose to have a jumper wire for power or if the r/s supplies the power. I have tested it before and it had power but still throwing codes.
Any help appreciated

There's a brown 2nd ACC that's the root of your problems.
Ign 1
Ign 2
Starter
ACC 1
ACC 2
Power up the RED, RED / WHITE and RED / BLACK
Use the satellite relay orange to feed a relay, see diagram:-

Lastly NEVER JUMP it will cost you $$$! Always relay.
Vehicle manufacturers have multiple wires for a reason!

because if you dont hook it up then it throws a code... it feeds some module somewhere in the truck that tells the truck to do something and if it doesnt do that then it thinks there is something wrong.
i think it also powers the AC or the radio circuit.

Agreed, no real rules but a few clichés test and verify everything. Breathe slowly and take it easy, problem, post it here or have a cup of tea or coffee well away from the vehicle, don't laugh it works for me.

So what about the BLACK/ pink wire that's not being used. It has a relay to it inside the viper
