Of the three 10, 12, 14 which connector is the one I need to hook to for the TX & RX for the immoblizer? If I even have an transponder key.

Info from iDatalink for Tacoma 2005-2010  40 Bit Key

Transponder   7 Pin connector

Code (RX)       pin 4    Pink/Green (DATA)
TXCT (TX)        pin 5    LtGREEN/ Red (DATA)

Separate connector

Keysense      GREEN/ Black (-)       @ Ignition switch

Once again, are you sure the DB-ALL bypass module has the correct ( 401.TL1 Ver 2.19 ) firmware loaded on it?

Soldering is fun!

Thanks Kreg357 I have that info the issue I am having is that the 7-pin connector that the instructions and everyone has been telling me where it is, is not where it is said to be. So I do not know for sure if I even have the transponder key system on my truck.

Well come to find out no it does not have the correct firmware loaded in it. It has to be loaded prior to installation. Bad planning on my part. Guess either I need to go to a local install shop and see if they will upload it for me or by the XKLOADER caable to do it myself. wiz poor planning on my part.

Thanks for the help and info.... back to the drawing board.

The 30 Flex on the H3/7  is that the same as the Flex Relay? There is no 30 Flex just eh flowing:

ON AUX/AHUTDAOWN HARNESS

(-) 200mA Flex relay control output

ON REMOTE START, 8-Pin connector

Pin 2 - RED / White  (+) 12VDC constant input for ignition2 & flex relays

Pin 6 - Pink/White (+) Ignition 1 / Flex relay output

Thanks for the help. I just don't want to screw this up.

Pin 7 - Pink/Black (+) Flex relay input 87A key side (if required) of Flex Relay

So I guess the question is which flex to hook up?

Sorry was thinking 10 pin H3
  • H3/2 RED / White_ to vehicle +12v WHITE/ Blue
  • H3/6 Pink/White is Ignition 2 to vehicle BLUE / YELLOW

The 2009 is the same as 2010 so use this pictorial for reference.

You will also need a additional relay for the second starter.
  • H2/18 VIOLET / YELLOW (-) 200mA STARTER OUTPUT to additional relay( pin 86 and 87 to 12V+, pin 85 to H2/18(starter output), pin 30 to vehicle starter 2 wire (BLACK/ white) and pin 87a open.

Don't forget to add a Fuse between the WHITE/ Red (Vehicle) and 86 & 87 (Add on Relay) connection.
