Here are my connections. On the relay the stripe points to 85 which is the red wire. The yellow connectors are the two ends of the starter wire.

Sorry I forgot to say that in the 2nd pic it shows 86 to ignition 1 and 85 to GWR I currently have it wired 85 to ignition and 86 to GWR but I was testing both ways and still no luck. Also for the starter on/off switch wires I twisted them together. I tested for +12v on one of the wires and it was live, but once the two were joined together I got 0. Below is what I did. Should they remain as is or do I need to connect them to any other wire? Depending on which wires I get a click from the relay but no remote start response still. My car came with an Automate III alarm which is a DEI product. I removed that because I bought the car with no fobs and it was not hooked up. Could there be another relay I dont know about. I checked under the hood in the fuse box and there is a starter relay there. Could that be some sort of factory starter shut off that gets switched on only when the key is turned to the on position?

On second thoughts don't take it to a pro, they'll take one look at your wiring and say "who did this?"
It's an awful mess.

WOW. A picture IS worth a thousand words.  It seems that this remote starter is not going to work for you. It seems that something is missing from your install that unfortunately we can not see based on your info.

It should be a easy install...1 Starter, 2 Ignitions, 1 Accessory. .. Along with door locks, Tach, Brake,  ect, ect...

Or maybe you have a dead unit.  Put you car back the way it was.

Get a Viper 5701, Clifford 3.3 or a Python 872. (All the same system that I am more familar with)...All three are remote start/alarm systems.  It might be easer for us to guide/help you to your install.

Also, dump the crimp connectors and get a solder gun and solder your connections.

When all else fails, Read the Instructions

Thanks smokeman1. I was guessing that there might have been something wrong with the brain why it wouldn't start. Based on all of the threads that I have read here it should have worked with 6 simple wires connected. I am in the process now of getting a new unit probably a Viper. This was my first remote start install but not my first remote start all of my previous cars had Viper alarms and I bought this one to try to install myself this time. I'm sure with a new unit I will be able to install it with no problems.

I'll be brutally honest and forego your previous attempt at sarcasm.
First, this is an EASY car to do but your wiring is atrocious and I'm sure Smokeman agrees.
Second, it might be a PITA to program but A/Vox Prestige products are generally no worse than DEI so don't take the first approach and think "faulty brain".
On products like Compustar, DEI and A/Vox that's pretty rare.
Frankly if you can't make it work with the help and diagrams you've been given don't even attempt another brand, you'll get the same result, i.e. failure.

I was not being sarcastic I simply thanked you for your help. I just expected help and not just criticism of my wiring connections. The yellow connection you see are from a previous install that was already on the car that is not my doing. I didn't bother permanently closing up my leads until I was sure that it worked which is why in the picture you see wires touching but not taped up. What would you suggest I do as far as what see wrong with my install. I tried everything exactly as you stated and it work. I also wired it exactly as the manual states both w/ and w/o the relay and still no remote start. I tested the lead out for the yellow wire when attempting to remote start but I got no readings. There is absolutely no response when I press the remote start. I have attempted to jump the yellow starter wire with red +12v wire and the starter attempts to engage which is the same as jumping the starter. But when I try either of the key fobs the remote start does nothing. No flashing dash lights, no cranking, no voltage. If the brain is not the issue then what is.

How about posting pics of one of your install as an example of how I should model my install after. I came to this forum because I was told it was the best and that there are no @$$hole$ and I would only get HELP!!! If you can not or will not continue to assist me the simply say it and I will not post here again.

But that's the whole point, we have helped, it's an easy install how much more help do you need?
Let's go back to basics.
Check the voltage across your input fuses and the ground.
Check to see if you are getting any outputs from ignition 1 &2 and start when you press the remote.
What worries me is the previously mentioned twisting together of wires, could you have fried the R/S brain?
