2 more cents - to be philosophical about it...

• You have car insurance ya?  Use it, dont just pay your insurance company.
• Get an alarm.  Make sure you get a good install. 
• Dont leave valuables in your car.  If its broken into, your lucky if they just take the speakers.  How you gonna get to work that morning, and the day after that - with no car??
• No matter what type neighborhood you live, bumpin your system will help you get noticed by the local shadys.

It sucks that we cant have nice things without some lowlife waiting around the corner to take them from you.  But now that you know...how expensive a sound system do you really need???  Those are the chances we take... 

I had a sweet ride back in the day.  A carjacker helped me realize that I dont NEED to put TOO much time and money into a vehicle.
