One of the installer's at the shop installed a remote start alarm on a Chevy Suburban 2002.  Now every time the car is turned on, the factory security light is also turned on.  We used one of the Directed bypass modules on this.   What do you think is going wrong with the installation?  Thanks for your help in advance.

Also, the remote start and everything on the alarm is working fine.  It's just the factory security signal that is on in the dash display.

did they hook up the security arm/disarm wires??..this has nothing to do with the Passlock feature, you also have to shut down the factory alarm......

Thanks for your help guys.  I'll ask him what he did and give him your suggestions.  We've done this car before, but this is the first time we encountered this problem.  Also, how do you disarm the factory alarm?  Thanks again.
