hmm... first generation of accord to have distributorless coil.
there are several ways to get tach wires:
-coil, injector (seems impossible for this case), ECM
that wire does not do anything w/ ur alarm sounding off.
check ur sensitivity of the impact sensors. these sensor are really sensitive and works really great, but dont turn them up too high.

Yeah thats definitly the wire that goes to coil this is the tach wire but he sure did a shi**y job coverering it up a least put some tape around it if he didn't have split loom most of us like to make it look like it's suppossed to be there.

THanks for the replies so far guys.
I just got back. Ah...it's so hard to pass a day w/o the net.
Anyway, to keep you updated. The alarm seems to be okay now. Someone mentioned that any car left a while without started may cause the battery's voltage to somewhat drop. Perhaps that's what happened to the ocassional sound-off. I'm just worried on what audiopro111 said. Someone else on another board told me that the installer should have installed a high-heat resistance cable if it's to be put near the engine block or it'll melt.
One more annoying thing is that the installer has been a pain in the a** to contact. I just feel like reversing the installation charge on my card since he did a somewhat questionable job.
I feel somewhat relieved that I'll be going back there in about 10 days. Will keep you guys updated.
I hope no one else suffers like I do.
