I don't think I can use either of the above products, there is no CeNet cable for the IPOD, so that wouldn't work, the splitter, and since there is no denison dock to CeNet cable, they won't work either. I am pretty sure the only way it'll work w/o an fm transponder is the EQ method with the source selector

The best choice would be to use the FOUR.1i, use that switcher to switch the outputs from the FOUR.1i and the Clarion processor. Then you could use rca splitters for the sub input on the amp. Make sure to use a relay to only allow one source to play at once (either the Clarion deck and processor or the FOUR.1i and the ipod). I'm not 100 percent sure this will work so if anyone has any other thoughts please chime in...

so the four.1 has six inputs and four outputs? the reason for the difficulty is I reall need to have in effect eight inputs. six off the processor, and two from the IPOD. by using the source switche, i can run Ipod/ front+ rear, and the processor/ front+rear to it and just run ipod sub and processor sub to a y adapter. then the switcher, which turns off one unit as the other powers up, prevents any issue at the sub amp. Is there any flaw in this logic?
