I am having a problem with getting the remote start to work on this vehicle. It will crank over.

This what I have hooked up so far:

Alarm                                        Truck
Red +12                                    Pnk/Blk
Purple +Starter                         Yellow
Pink + Ignition                                ?
Orange + Acc                                  ?
Blue/Blk (-) 2nd ignition                ?
Yellow/Wht (-) 2nd accessory      ?
Had these blue/blk hooked up to relays and still couldn't get it to work.
Here is the relay info i used.
             Secodndary Ignition Output
87- (+) 12 30 amp
86- (+)12 3.5 amp
30- Vehicles Second Primary Ignition Wire
85- Blue Black wire.
I am having issues with this. Any input would be greatly apprecitated. Thank You

Hey iamdr7,

No doubt this truck has a Sentry Key immobilizer.  Got to any security shop and they'll have what you need.

No it doesn't have the immobilizer. That is the gray key right? Any suggestions would help. If it should be wired another way then let me know. Also if i am supposed to have other connections hooked up could you let me know also. Thank You

alarm    =    car

pink     =    blue smaller of 2  (test to verify)

blu/black=  RED / white switched (relay)

orange   =  orange

yellow/wht  =  green(relay)

That should work right. This is for a Micro Alarm. Thanks for the info.

Notes:

NOTE: For the 2002 Ram 2500/3500, refer to the 2001 techsoft sheet.

*1 Lock requires a negative trigger thru a 867 ohm resistor. Unlock requires a negative trigger thru a 364 ohm resistor. MUST use relays.

*2 Parking lights require a negative trigger thru a 1.4K ohm resistor. Headlights require a negative trigger thru a 1.8K ohm resistor. MUST use relays.
*3 The LF door trigger is tan, and the LR door is tan/orange. These wires are in the driver kick panel. The RF door trigger is tan/red, and the RR door is tan / YELLOW. These wires are in the passenger kick panel. Use all wires and diode isolate each.

For the accessory and the second accessory do you have too hook both both wires for each one?

Yes both require connections with relays.
