How long would the radio stay on lets say if the door didnt open ? and is there a way to kill this feature ? I have remote start and sometimes my stupid *** accidently hits the start button.... and i have to go outside to open the door and close it to kill the radio.... any help boys ?

I think it's 10 minutes.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

It's a 10 minute cycle. I know there is a single wire in the harness that controls this, if you want to figure it out and disconnect it.

Test to see if the a/c controls are on a separate accessory circuit from the radio.  If so, simply disconnect the one that feeds the radio from your remote start.  The main thing you really need remote start for aside from warming the engine is to warm up or cool off the interior.

So the ACC wire for the radio remains hot until one of the door triggers hits or senses ground………Would running a new ACC wire solve this ? Keep it simple.
