Help please help.  I am installing the alarm in the 2005 colbalt.  The car's security device is activated and want let the car start.  How do I reset that also I went by the wiring diagram from dirctech and I can only get the right side blinkers to flash at arm and disarm.  alsoI can't figure out where to place the ignition wires and the start wire from the remote start.  the Dirctech wire matrix says to refer to the dircfax form 1610 for the start wire well I don't have that.  PLease help I have this dudes car at my house and I cant get it to start.

if you look at the link in here the starter wire is in the Powertrain control module and it is a negative feed.   what I am thinking is use a relay to change the polarity from the alarm and tie it into the starter wire.

The Colbalt uses the new Passlock systems where the 2nd IGN, Passlock & the key sense wires are built together. The starter cranks only  when the ACC wire falls out and comes back on. Also, is this an automatic Colbalt or manual ? Did you bypass the clutch if itis a manual ?

j68rh, use the PLXR bypass module from bypasskits. This is the module that we use for all the ION type passlock systems and it works great. If your having problems with the system I suggest removing the bypass relays and see if your problems are still there.
