2000 Dodge Neon alarm problem

 I went to RadioShack and I got the 10 Ohn resister, They didn't have the one for 7.5 Ohn, I tryed but it didn't work, can I have some other Ideas please...... what else can I try???????

10 Ohm won't work.......has to be within 10%   ........ If you have Radio Shack.....Ask them if they know an Installer or a Shop that can help you.....Maybe even radio ShackMO

wow, I don't really understand the 7.5 Ohm thing, can you tell me what other things do I have to do? do I have to have an extra wire from the (negative of the batery ) to the resister and from the resister to light green wire? do I have to cut the green wire? and last question from what end do I have to connect the resiste or it doesn't matter?
