hey guys I'm new here, but I am currently trying to install a clifford matrix rsx 3.5 in my 97 acura 2.2CL. I've installed basic alarms and keyless entry systems, and the door lock is not doing very well for me. If anyone has had experience with my type of car please help.

you have to get them in the security module which is under the passenger seat

lock is RED / yellow

unlock is RED / blue

oh yah and you have to meter these wires while turning the key in the passenger door lock cylinder

and you can also get them in the driver kickpanel

lt. blue for lock

BLACK / YELLOW for unlock

awesome thanx, what about the trunk pop. I wired everything up the way they wanted with the relay and it still doesn't work, did you do that?

The trunk release wire at the factory alarm module has to be cut in half

If your alarm puts out a negative pulse trunk release

you need a relay,  pin 87 and 86 goes to a fused 12 volt source, pin 85 goes to the alarm brain, pin 30 goes to the solenoid side of the wire you cut in half, and pin 87a goes to the switch or security module side that you cut in half

if your alarm puts out a postive pulse trunk release

do exactly the same, BUT put pin 86 to negative instead of 12 volts

ok I got all my door locks and trunk solenoid working. Now why isn't my alarm bypassing my stock alarm when it's sitting for a little bit. It just randomly doesn't bypass it. Like over night it was fine, but when i got out of school today my stock alarm wasn't bypassed. I have my GREEN/ black wire hooked up through a relay to my blue wire, which I have been told that's the wire to use to bypass my stock alarm. What should I do, because I can't just take my stock alarm out so how should I got about doing this?

your factory alarm bypasses on lock and unock, I don't know what else to tell you

might have to wait for a better response to this

you have to interrupt the ign feed to the OEM alarm... usually it's a yellow wire....

So today I was installing the remote start part of my car and i was thinking if there is a possibility to install the brake shutdown wire on my clutch wires.

My car is a 1997 Acura 2.2CL Manual Transmission

My alarm is a Clifford Matrix RSX 3.5
