I was looking at buying 2 of these woofers and was woundering if anyone had any experience with this model. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/product/detail/0,,2076_4059_153020663,00.html

Also, what amp would you suggest that is either Pioneer or Kenwood. Im not really familiar with how many watts should be pushed to a speaker and wanted to know what you guys thought. Thanks.

Also, if anyone else had a recommendation for 2 speakers that are either Pioneer or Kenwood that work really well I am open to that. Thanks.

Just out of curiosity, why are you only looking at Pioneer and Kenwood?

Well if that's the case, I'd just save up and get one (or 2) of the higher end Pioneer subs.

Why do you recommend going with the higher in stuff. Wouldnt 2 of these speakers hit harder than 1 higher end stuff or does the quality make that much of a difference? Thanks!

Depnding on what you want from your system, those Pioneer subs will do fine. They are not SPL subwoofers, but will definitely add to your exisitng system and for a good price as well. I would go with a GM-D510M for an amplifier. Run the subs in 2 ohms and it will hit pretty hard. IMO you won't be eble to tell the difference between the Premiere sub and the normal Pioneer sub if you haven't had the opportunity to test each individually.

Ok, just a questions about the amp. The one you have recommended is a mono which to my understanding means it only has 1 channel. Is it possible to run 2 subs off of this amp or would I have to get 2 of them?
