Yes, that foam is the best. It is a 2 part liquid that you mix together. Once it sets, you can cut it, sand it, and apply the resin directly to it and it doesnt dissinigrate. awesome awesome stuff.

It is uerethane foam. You can google it to find the cheapest prices. The stuff I got expands 30 times its size so a little goes a long way. here is a link to the stuff.

Heres a newer pic. I added the other tweet. I ran out of body filler primer so I just used black spray paint. As you can see I still have quite a bit of sanding to do but Im getting much closer to the finished product.

i FINALLY got it finished......Well almost. It isnt installed yet and I made a stupid mistake. I accidentally got a little bit of contact cement on one of the plastic covers for one of the crossovers. so what do I do? I went ahead and used goof off to clean it. well little did I know but that stuff melts plastic. So now I hav eto go get a thin piece of plexi and use that as a cover now. I suppose I could sand the plastic up to 3000grit and flame polish it but that requires a lot of work. Maybe ill try it later on. Anywho.... here are the pics. I will post more once I actually get it back in the car.
