thats why you need to use the lock motor wire, its tied directly into the remote, the lock wire is not.. You are using a foctory addon. just try taping it to ground when you need to press the button and than put the pos. activation wire to the lock motor gray.. I guarantee it should work if you do it the way im telling you.. ive done close to a 1000 remote starters

I think your a little confused on programing-On your model(1300dp)there are no remotes,so when it says to press the lock or un-lock button on the remote -your suppose to hit the brake pedal,check your book on page 17 on line #5.

If you find that gray lock wire you can wire a relay like this.

term 85.-ground(-)

term 87.-ground(-)

term 86.-grey lock motor wire (+)

term 30.-green start activation wire on Crimestopper

sorry, im alittle impatient when it comes to explaining things.. and sorry if i pointed you in the wrong direction with the programming, with DEI you would tap the wire to pos/neg if the remote wasnt working for programming. But what prdjr165 said about the relay is how you should wire it..

hey no problem "Impatient help" is better than no help 04 grand am, add on remote start - Page 4 - Last Post -- posted image.

Oh by the way guess what? I got it!! Thanks for all your help. The biggest pain after putting in the relay was the gmdlbp. It took awhile to reprogram it. Thanks again
