2006 chrysler 300, eclipse avn 7000

Hey guys has anyone hooked up a ipod connection to either the AVIC n2 or the Eclipse AVN7000? I have the eclipse headunit and also just put the ipod option on it. I dont have an ipod but was thinking of getting one and putting a bunch of music videos on it. Can I watch the videos from the ipod? is the ipod option just for music? or videos as well? THANKS GUYS

Dont work much with eclipse but the ipod adapter for the n2 will only give you audio and no video.  You can rig something up and a get an adapter sold by apple that gives you a video output and connect it to one of your inputs from the N2.  At this moment the AVIC-N4 can play ipod videos directly from the ipod adapter and the Pioneer D3. 

the kenwood dnx7100 will play ipod audio and video when you purchase the ipod adapter

hey guys i have finished my installation in my chrysler 300 with the eclipse avn 7000 headunit. so everything is perfect on there but for some reason the dvd picture is not as clean as id like it to be. is there anyway i can find or use a better ground? can i just use a thicker wire to ground to the body? i didnt use the ground wire in the harness just ran the black wire to a piece of clean metal behing the dash... THANKS

The picture won't get any clearer with a different ground. If the picture quality ( DPI ) is not sufficient, you can't do anything about that, but if you change your settings for color, contrast and tint you should be able to have the picture look more vibrant and in some cases sharper.Jeff

hello, so i installed the TVR105 for the eclipse AVN 7000. So the antenna has what is very similar to a headphone esk plug (sorry do not know the technical term). Can I buy a splitter and connect more antennas? 2 in the back 2 in the front... Gosh I hope that makes sense...

You should be able to add more antennas.  I just bought the AVN 7000, and am putting it into a 2005 chrysler pacifica, and was wondering if that unit has to be bypassed to allow video to play while driving? I know with the AVICs by pioneer, u had to ground the parking break wire, then in the avic 2s, u had to solder 2 points in the deck, and with the N3s, u had to remove a silver sticker and flip a switch, and with jensen, there was a passcode u had to enter to get into the menus to let it play constantly... How do you do it with the Eclipse AVN 7000?Rob
