Hi, I finish installing and program the alarm system for my 1993 Honda prelude... when arm everything works.. but when i try to remote start me car it wont start.. and I did the reservation mode since i have a manual transmission... i notice when activating the reservation mode.. i turn the key off the car turn off... what is the problem? did i wire it wrong? i bypass the clutch with the status, starter, ign, and acc output to the purple pigtail and clutch wire to the blue wire from the relay that compustar provided. BTW the jumper wire is not cut and every thing on the jumper switch 1 & 2 is on "on" setting. Please help me thank you

Unless you are a dealer, there is no warranty for you..
Cut wire should be for auto tranny only..You should not have to cut the wire.. If reservation works, and assuming you have tach programmed and alternator sensing turned off..you should be good to go.. There are some compustar experts here whould would probably chime in..

that means your ignition-controlled doorlocks option is turned on.
i just installed my first compustar yesterday and i programmed it today for my friend. the ignition-controlled doorlocks (which lock when the e-brake is put down, and unlocks when the ebrake is pulled up) was an option on the model i installed but it was not the default option.
are you doing the shutdown sequence correctly?
ebrake, foot off brake, take key out.

Yup... but im think i might wire the foot brake it the wrong harness instead of wire it straight to the foot brake.. im gonna fix that and see if that fix the problem. thanks for helping and will give a up date if that is the problem or not.

my opinion is compustar is a more complicated install than a DEI install. i'm glad my first experience was with DEI because it prepared me for the compustar install.
good luck with your problem and we'll look foward to the updates.
