I would do anything to have rolls and rolls of power wire like that just laying around.
I dunno about the girl though. They usually get kinda aggravating. us manufactured mobile electronics equipm - Page 3 -- posted image.
Anywho, why do you care about that anyway?
The United States simply is not a competetive manufacturer of consumer electronic goods. Especially lower end commodities like stereo gear simply is not made domestically at anything approaching a reasonable cost. This isn't a bad thing... just that low end production jobs are moving to where wages are lower. Don't believe everything you hear about this. Competitive companies, like Kicker for example, are in the 'information' export business... domesitcally *designed* products are then produced overseas for a fraction of the cost. In this sense, America is still exporting its most valuable commodity... our intelligence.
Besides, the farther you are away from a product the more money you make on it. Don't all the installers here complain about being underpaid? That's not a mistake, its a market reality.
If you're worried about the American manufacturing sector.. worry not... we still lead the planet by several orders of magnitude when we built complicated things. Like machine tools.

Well, what it REALLY says is the Stillwater Designs is headquartered in Stillwater, OK. It does NOT say that it does not have MANUFACTURING FACILITIES in other places in the world.
Manufactured BY, yes. Headquartered IN, yes. But manufactured IN? Nope. Says nothing of the sort.
For it to MEAN that, it should say Designed by Stillwater Designs, and manufactured by Stillwater Designs IN Stillwater, OK.

Thank you for clarifying that for me haemphyst. I was really lost there for a min.us manufactured mobile electronics equipm - Page 3 -- posted image. I don't even sell kicker; but that didn't sound right!

Very well put Sedate.  Manufacturing moving overseas due to lower wages hasn't lowered the unemployment rate in the US.  It just simply changed the type of jobs available.

I will try and get a 5 channel us amps amp. Now if I could only find speakers manufactured here that would be wonderful. Also i deffinetly here your arguments that this exporting of manufacturing is not destroying the country or anything but if there are products made here why shouldn't I buy them? If ford and GM make good stuff why not make an extra effort to get something from here?
