There's nothing special about Phoenix Gold that makes it different from any other amp... look, if you think the system is not functioning correctly I suggest you go back to the shop where you bught the amp and ask that they check your setup and test the amp if necessary.  That'll tell you if it is defective or if you have a setup issue, or maybe that you are simply expecting too much.

Uhhhh, how are you "running your JLs in the black all the time" when the black on your subs is 800 WRMS and you were putting 300 WRMS to each sub?
There is no such thing as free installation!

For real.  Mid-line average quality at best.

had some W015's  125-150rms was putting 300 RMS to each  and they held up okay sure the wires to the terminals broke loose but the speakers was still kickin.   was speaking past  meaing i have put way over the limit to jls before sure everyone has there own taste im saying i like the JL's and the titaniums have not done me wrong in the past just wondering why this ones being a a#%

W3 are only "500 watts" rms   very under rated .

2ohm load on the subs when bridged

How much do you want to spend?

Did you buy your amp from an on-line dealer or from a real store?

I don't see how you said you have the same subs wired for 2 ohm mono on your amp now...but then again on your last amp had it wired for 2 ohm stereo...did you magically change the loads??
